Benjamin Isaacs

Dr. Benjamin Isaacs has over 25 years of innovative biopharma product/device development and quality aseptic manufacturing experience coupled with corporate program management/product development & business process improvement experience. Ben obtained his PhD in Chemistry from University of Oklahoma, studying structural aspects of Blood Coagulation proteins and their multi-molecular complexes in a fluorescence spectroscopic study and continued with a PostDoctoral Research Fellow in Holland Labs at the American Red Cross in Rockville, MD completing a fluorescent spectroscopic study of the association/interaction of the multi-domain Fibronectin with collagen with application in wound healing. His career includes 18 years with Formatech, Inc as President and CEO where he built, validated and commissioned a CGMP sterile fill and finish plant in Andover, MA, coined, trademarked and effectively deployed “We Formulate Solutions®” in 1993 to launch Formatech as a CRO, with great success. Ben also forged a 3-yr strategic alliance with Abbott (One-2-One; now Hospira) on aseptic products manufacturing as a testament to the company’s quality systems and market place niche summarized as “Develop-Characterize-Manufacture” ®. His career also includes 4 years with Ology Bioservices as a Principle Investigator where Ben addressed critical drug shortages with a path to ANDA, BLA for a pandemic FLU vaccine, and anti-nerve gas agents and auto-injector delivery systems. Ben is a proven leader with a record of strategic integration including creative marketing and sales execution impacting the bottom line.
